The NYF2CHM plugin (Converting myBase .nyf databases into .chm eBooks)

The NYF2CHM converter is a plugin designed for myBase Desktop by using myBase SDK. The NYF2CHM plugin enables you to export .nyf databases into .chm eBooks from within myBase Desktop, and is also able to index information in the .chm eBooks, it also automaticlly generate the inter-clickable links for all pages. So finding results is very fast within the generated .chm eBooks. The generated .chm eBooks can be viewed on Windows, Pocket PC as well as Linux platform etc.

Installing this plugin adds the 'Export to CHM' item onto the 'Share' menu of myBase Desktop 5.x, (or the 'Tools' menu of v4.8x), and the keyboard shortcut 'Ctrl + Shift + K'. You can choose to export either the current item branch or the whole database as .chm eBook.

System Requirements

The NYF2CHM plugin works with myBase Desktop 5.x (and 4.8x) on Windows98/ME/2K/XP/2003.

On this screen, the webpage header and footer are customizable. You may use HTML tag. The header/footer defined here will appear on every resulting webpage. So this might be a right place to add your company LOGO, website links, ADs or promotional tag within your eBooks. Even you can add a script file link to your pages! e.g. You can download the "Top link" script file from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex5/jumptop.htm , save "jump top" script to the temporary folder, and add the follow code as your header text:
<script src= "/jumptop.js"></script>, then every page have the "Top" link function!

On this screen, you can customize the Visual style of the resulting .chm eBooks.

Here you can specify the destination .CHM filename and homepage of it, also you can add the attachment script file, e.g. jumptop.js.

Now you can press the 'Run' button to start converting, and after a while if all goes OK, the .chm eBook will be generated accordingly.
