NYF2WEB

The NYF2WEB converter is a plugin designed for myBase Desktop by using myBase SDK . With this nyf2web.dll plugin, you can convert a Mybase database into HTML tree including item links and attachments.  The plugin also automaticlly generates the inter-clickable links for all pages. It keeps all text formatting, attachments, tree outline structure for result html pages. Consequently you can put it on your website and share it with others through Internet by using IE, Firefox or any other compatible browser.

The generated web site is splitted into left/right form. The left frame contains the tree structured outline, the right frame displays web contents associated with outline items. The tree outline and popup menus of the generated webpages use DHTML/CSS/Javascript, so please make sure your web browser is fully compatible with these specifications and you have all relevant options enabled. Otherwise, your web browser would not display the web pages correctly. Fortunately, most of familiar web browsers have these required settings as defaults. So people actually don't need to change any settings to browse the generated HTML tree.

Installing this plugin adds the 'Web Publisher...' item onto the 'Share' menu of myBase Desktop 5.x, (or the 'Tools' menu of v4.8x). You can choose to export either the current item branch or the whole database as .html pages.

This add-ons needs microsoft office 2000 or higher version to convert RTF text to HTML page.

The NYF2CHM plugin works with myBase Desktop 5.x (and 4.8x) on Windows98/ME/2K/XP/2003.

MS XML Parser 3.0 or higher.

It  generates a sitemap file for google googlebot  automatically, so it let Google to capture all html files, then other people can search and find your web site.

On this screen, the webpage header and footer are fully customizable. You may use and valid HTML tag. The header/footer defined here will appear on every resulting webpage. This might be a right place to add your company LOGO, website links, ADs or promotional tag within your website. You can even add a script file link to your pages! e.g. You can download the "Top link" script file from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex5/jumptop.htm , save "jump top" script to the temporary folder, and add the follow code as your header text:
<script src= "/jumptop.js"></script>, then every page have the "Top" link function!

 

Now you can press the 'Publish' button to start exporting, and after a while if all goes well, a preview windows will be opened. If needed, you can cancel the exporting process at any time.
